Pack a bag and get walking. Go on an adventure: In your own neighbourhood, surrounding suburbs, towns, cities or states. Get out into nature and walk a path you’ve never walked before. Rely on your instincts to guide you on your journey. Allow your senses to guide your direction. Often they’ll tell you what they want to see, feel, taste, smell or touch. Challenge yourself to be “free”. Let go and start a whole new journey. Into the wild you go.

You Smile I Smile.
Feelings are energy. When you’re happy, your beautiful happiness radiates positively in around and through you; influencing the energy sphere of others. When you’re sad, animals, nature and humans are affected energetically and can feel when you’re mood is down. It’s really easy for all of us to allow ourselves to be negatively affected by our surroundings and fall into a melancholy state (hell, apparently dairy consumption makes us melancholy!) I choose to radiate beautiful energy to the best of my ability each and every day. I want people to feel great around me; I want people to feel inspired. I want them to smile. Because when you smile, it makes me smile some more.

Sustainable Farm.
I recently spent 3 nights and 4 days on my mother’s farm. Her and her partner are continuing to build a self-sufficient way of life. I am so grateful for the exposure to planting seeds, herbs, plants and trees. I am so grateful for the opportunity to milk their cow and from this milk, make yoghurt, butter and consume its cream. I am so grateful for the home cooked meals that only included produce directly off the land. It was incredible for me to be able to connect with and care for the animals on the property, from baby ducks and turkeys, cows, a horse, pigs and chickens. The experience brought me out of my head and into my heart. The time allowed me to heal some more; unwind and listen to my heart again. Being able to sit quietly amidst nature didn’t invite “thought”, but rather inner peace and fulfillment. There is absolute magic being resourceful with nature. Taking only what you need. There is no room to indulge “wants”. Putting love into everything you consume well in advance. It provides you with such deep feelings of gratification and connection to life: Your breath. Your heart. Love.

Sit On Some Grass.
To clear the mind, sometimes all it takes is to sit on some grass. Kick the heels off, take a picnic, book, camera or a notepad and pen. Relax and let nature help you unwind.
Roses.
All I know is that when I stop to smell the roses, my morning walk, my day and my experience of the moment is so much greater. An injection of a beautiful aroma from nature can sometimes make all the difference.
