Pack a bag and get walking. Go on an adventure: In your own neighbourhood, surrounding suburbs, towns, cities or states. Get out into nature and walk a path you’ve never walked before. Rely on your instincts to guide you on your journey. Allow your senses to guide your direction. Often they’ll tell you what they want to see, feel, taste, smell or touch. Challenge yourself to be “free”. Let go and start a whole new journey. Into the wild you go.

Hollywood.
...Also known as the City of Angels. Where there is just as much of a focus on meditation, yoga and healthy, clean eating; following dreams and striving to fulfill our deepest desires, also comes an equal balance of darkness amidst the light. Hollywood is an electrifying place full of passion for the good and bad. To achieve a sustainable life in Hollywood, I would say that it requires a constant focus on the light. Alluring as all of it’s temptations might be, life still has to be a balanced sanctuary.

Packing Bags.
I’m taking a risk by moving countries. I don’t think the grass will necessarily be greener or that life will become easier. This is a move for the soul. Something that has been lingering in the back of my mind for years on end. A journey and new step I’m taking to nourish every part of my being.

Still Learning How to Fly.
Sometimes I feel like I’m flying. Other times I feel as though I’m still learning to pick my feet up off the ground. Our wings need to be exercised in different ways, at different times. I’m always learning. Growing. I’m still learning how to fly.

New York I Love You.
New York I love you. When I was 4 years of age, I used to trot around the garden like a grub in my “I Love New York” t-shirt. In 2005, I visited you for the first time and cried for the three days leading up to my departure, as I had found my home and hated the fact I was leaving it. In 2010, I visited you for a month or so and again, had the time of my life walking your streets. In 2011 I stayed with you again for a month or so and created a herb garden inside a sky scraper building. It’s now 2013 and I’m determined to officially move to you. But life has a funny way of intervening and telling you when the time is right, not the other way around. This is the year New York. My long anticipated love, dream and future home. This has to be the year.

Travel
Travel is a gift of transportation. Not in the physical sense, but in spirit, heart and mind.
Travel is the perfect antidote to western anxiety. It catapults you out of what can be for all of us, a stifled reality and into great new and foreign surroundings that allow you to get “free”: Free in your experiences, in your movement and in what you allow your senses to divulge in.
Travel is a humbling movement of joy and reflection, mystery, inspiration and intrigue. In travel we find new ways to see and to feel.
Travel is a new found best friend who lights a flame of investigation or like a long lost lover yet to be met in this lifetime.
Travel is a light bulb that switches on ideation and harnesses growth. We’re all here to learn, to love and to live life to the fullest.
Travel cheaply. Stay in the hotel or motel around the corner from your current home.
Travel in unadulterated luxury. Where you blow your bank balance for the experience of a lifetime. Even if for only a week - make it the most memorable one. Choose a location you can exercise your passions. Go and learn the Brazilian samba in South America or weave baskets in Vietnam. If you’re a singer, go and live in New Orleans for a month. Do what your heart craves, because when you set it free, that’s when you achieve total inner peace and divine harmony.
