What Is Perfection?

Perfection is loving every aspect of self in a balanced light through unconditional eyes, no matter what. Perfection is the opportunity to see yourself and others as they already are, for what they are and not as you want yourself or them to be. Perfection is forgiveness: Allowing yourself to understand the value in all of your life experiences and upon reflection, deepen your wisdom. Perfection is embracing what a glossy magazine deems to be faulty. I love my eye lines. I don’t need to get rid of them. Perfection is walking around the house with no make-up, greasy hair, ugg boots and in a tracksuit because you’re already amazingly beautiful inside your own skin, and you don't require externals to prove it. Perfection is recognising others strengths and weaknesses, and celebrating, not condemning both. Perfection is being open to growth and personal development, not trying to control every aspect of life’s journey. Perfection is giving yourself space to be angry, sad, frustrated or being able to make “mistakes”, but giving yourself greater room for love, healing, stillness, peace and forgiveness. Perfection is love and self acceptance. It’s about letting go. It’s about being able to look yourself in the mirror at any stage, of any age and saying “I love you. You’re perfect to me”.
