Wanting It All.

Why can’t I have it all? There have been so many things I’ve wanted in life. So many things I’ve lusted for and craved. But if we all had everything, what would be left for us to create? There is nothing good in having everything, and what is “everything” anyway? Different things have different meanings for everyone; things serve us at different times and stages in our lives when we most need them. Nothing is permanent or “a given”. So whilst I think at times to myself, “I want it all”, I realise that there is absolutely nothing that I don’t already have, or cannot at least work towards in my time.
